The purpose of the Association is:

1. to create a climate of camaraderie and friendship within the community of Pine Lake; and

2. to unite in action for the protection of Pine Lake and the surrounding area; and

3. to preserve the ecology and beauty of Pine Lake and the surrounding area, to maintain appropriate standards of health and pollution control in cooperation with the designated federal, state and local agencies; and

4. to encourage and sponsor activities deemed by the members of the Association to be worthy of support, and whcih serve the best interests of the Pine Lake area.

5. Notwithstanding the foregoing, no such action shall be taken by the Association as set forth herein and above without such action having been approved by a duly adopted resolution of the majority vote of a quorum of voting members of the Association, said vote having been taken at a regular or special meeting of the Association. In addition, any resolution or actions being considered by the Association that may affect any of the real property, either privately or publicly owned, within the geographic boundaries of the Pine lake area or the use, access or enjoyment of said Lake, shall first be proposed at a regular meeting of the Association for consideration, and no vote of the Association of any said proposed action or resolution shall be taken until such proposed action or resolution has been duly considered by the Association at least one meeting prior to the meeting at whcih said vote shall be taken.
