Town of Caroga, "Where the Adirondacks Begin." Located on the shores
of Pine Lake, Southern Adirondack

some other Adirondack areas. The area has canoeing, kayaking and
hiking opportunities for all levels with some trailheads close enough
to walk to from your Adirondack cabin rental or campsite.
If you or the
kids like to swim, or just relax on the beach, there is nowhere like
Pine Lake in the entire Adirondacks, with its pristine views, sandy

offers the perfect setup for multi-family vacationers with furnished
accommodations and campsites located in close proximity to each other.
The breathtaking beauty of the mountains,
trails and streams is close and convenient. Take a hike up Kane
Mountain and view the area from its fire tower, canoe Pine Lake or
kayak to Stewart's Landing, enjoy one of the numerous hiking
trails, or enjoy great fishing in one of the dozens of lakes
within a 10 minute drive. Take in one of the nearby restaurants or
country stores, or cook at your cabin or camper while enjoying the
view of the lake. And don't forget - Southern Adirondack Pines also
has basketball & tennis facilities available for your enjoyment.
If you prefer a faster pace, there are numerous attractions within a
short drive. Lake George, Saratoga Springs, Turning Stone Casino and the Capital District
are all only about an hour away! The city of Johnstown, rich in early
American history, is a short drive down from the mountains, and
features landmarks from the revolutionary war period and the struggle
to gain women's rights. A stay with us allows you to combine the
beauty of the mountains and streams with numerous other interests,
including shopping, exploring history and many larger attractions.
